These meals make that so much easier! You can prep and freeze them ahead of time, or if you’re lucky, have someone who loves you make them for you.
Either way, they’re great options for quick, healthy meals that’ll save you time and energy when you need it most.
Breakfast Freezer Meals
Mornings can be hectic with a newborn, so having quick, nourishing breakfast options ready to go is a game-changer.
Breakfast Burritos
Scramble eggs with cheese, veggies, and your choice of protein (like sausage or bacon), then wrap them in tortillas. Freeze individually and reheat in the microwave.
Overnight Oats
Mix oats, milk, yogurt, and fruit in small mason jars and freeze. Let one thaw in the fridge overnight for a ready-to-eat breakfast.
Smoothie Packs
Pre-portion fruit, greens, and protein powder into freezer bags. Dump into a blender with your choice of milk when you’re ready.
Egg Muffins
Beat eggs with veggies, cheese, and meat, then bake in muffin tins. Freeze and reheat for a protein-packed breakfast.
Pancakes & Waffles
Make a big batch, let them cool, and freeze in stacks. Pop them in the toaster for an easy breakfast.

Lunch Freezer Meals
Quick lunches are essential when your hands are full with a newborn. These options make it easy to grab something nourishing without much effort.
Mason Jar Soups
Freeze individual portions of soup in jars. Let one thaw overnight and heat for a quick meal.

- Label everything with the name and date so you know what’s what.
- Portion out meals to make reheating easier.
- Use foil pans for casseroles so you can just pop them in the oven.
- Reheat meals in the oven, microwave, or slow cooker depending on the dish.
